Prior to producing music videos, I managed bands and clubs both here in Los Angeles and London. While on staff at Limelight Films in the UK and LA and later at N Lee Lacy I gained invaluable experience in the world of film, music and entertainment. I worked with such luminaries as Madonna, Ice T, Michael Jackson, Ziggy Marley, Rod Stewart, Culture Club, Human League, Bob Dylan and many, many more. I proudly worked hand-in-hand with John Cougar Mellencamp to produce works such as “Lonely Old Night”, “Pink Houses”, “R.O.C.K In the USA” and was nominated for a Grammy for “Check It Out.” John and I worked on his debut feature film: “Falling from Grace,” co-starring Mariel Hemingway. From these experiences I honed my passion for art more firmly and moved from production into Art Directing. Having been around all elements of art from music videos it was a natural progression.
Since then, I have been fortunate enough to be mentored by some of the best in the business. Working in the Art Department between commercials and features, Los Angeles and the UK/Europe has given me the opportunity to observe and navigate many differing lifestyles, cultures and aesthetics.
I am proud to be a citizen of the world, to be at home here and abroad and to have contributed to a great body of work that has shaped our culture and institutions.
